Chapter Alumnae Association Philanthropies

In addition to our international philanthropy of Breast Cancer Awareness, our CAA is also dedicated to philanthropic fundraising for various other non-profits.

ANNUAL PHILANTHROPIES

The aKDPhi Foundation is the philanthropic arm of alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc. While the bulk of our philanthropic fundraising goes towards Breast Cancer Awareness, we also contribute to the other campaigns the Foundation sponsors, including: The aKDPhi Foundation Scholarship Fund, Mental Health Awareness Founders Program, CAA Scholars Program, or to the General Fund. https://www.akdphifoundation.org/

Give Kids The World Village is an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides week-long, cost-free wish vacations to critically ill children and their families from around the world who want to visit Central Florida. Each Fall, we participate in the annual fundraising 5K in honor of our sister Ischa Fuentes, who was a Give Kids the World Alumni. For more information, please visit https://www.gktw.org/

Toys for Tots is a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, which aims to provide happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each Christmas holiday season. For more information, please visit https://www.toysfortots.org/

The Florida State University Alumni Association, through its local affiliates, host service projects traditionally throughout the month of March in a coordinated effort to give our Alumni ways to give back and represent Florida State University in a positive way. For our alumnae that are unable to participate with a local FSU Alumni Association Affiliate, our CAA has philanthropic fundraisers for the FSU CARE Program Unconquered Scholars Program or the FSU Student Emergency Fund, alternating each year.

Unconquered Scholars Program is part of FSU’s Center for Academic Retention & Enhancement. The mission of the Unconquered Scholars Program is to provide qualified Florida State University students guidance, continual mentorship, advocacy, security, and a voice to further ensure their personal academic success and long-term independence. FSU Student Emergency Fund is used to support students facing financial crises and address needs from food insecurity and emergency travel to housing assistance. For more information, please visit https://advance.fsu.edu/supporting-our-students
